Mabuhay! Who would have thought that as busy as me can still blog! ^_^ Being a Mom of 3 small kids it gets me going, busy 24/7, but doesn't mean I can't enjoy life any longer. ^__^
I went out with friends last night, I left at around 6:30pm, it started to rain already when I left. But it stopped, before I knew it, it rain again much heavier than I thought. When I got out of the Sub I noticed that the traffic in the main road was heavy it was unusual. But I went to the other direction anyway going to the highway. When I look down from the bridge to I75 it looks like a parking lot. The cars were dead stop. I thought of turning around back to the Sub and take the back way. Then I found out when I got to the stop light, it was off, no lights and stores, gas station were closing. The storm did damaged power lines in the area. The 4 way traffic (busy entersection) was not easy to passed by, cars were waiting for the other to give them right of way. I was one of those who got stocked in the traffic. I did not realize how bad the situation was until this morning when I went out to meet a friend and do my grocery. As of now few areas doesn’t have light yet, we are lucky to still have power.
Anyway, supposed to be more than 7 of us are going to meet in the resto. But since the weather was bad, I mean storm. Just 7 of us made it to the meeting place, if we leave an hour late I guess we were not going to make either. When the last heavy rain and wind hit we were already in our way to the place.
But I guess it was not that bad, because when we got out of the place it was clear and it feels like summer. ^_^
7 of us...
