Finally, Ashley’s Christining was pushed through last August 10th. I’m one of the Ninang (4 Ninangs). It was very quick ceremony, but the babies (9 of them Baptize at the same time) were already having a crying contest in the middle of the ceremony. All I can do was smile, it just remind me of my time, and looking at the Moms and Dads struggling to make their baby stop from crying it amazes me, I can see me and John on them. The ceremony was quick but since it was for 9 babies, you have to wait until every baby has their turns.
We had the reception in my house after the Baptism. It was fun, lots of foods! We ordered 6 food long Sandwich, Pizza, Chinese, Siopao, plus desserts, etc. But of course before you knew it, the food were all gone from the table, it was all wrap up for take home. Sometimes I just have to laugh off, because the following day I don’t have any food, no left-over for me from the party and I have to cook! Ahhh… So much for relaxing the following day. But seriously, we had fun, everyone were enjoying every bit of it. For me that is the most important, I can just eat dried fish the following day! Hahaha!I am going to share my slide show taken on Ashley’s Baptism.
Ashley being Baptized.
