Mabuhay! Who would have thought that as busy as me can still blog! ^_^ Being a Mom of 3 small kids it gets me going, busy 24/7, but doesn't mean I can't enjoy life any longer. ^__^
Been so busy lately and still am. The next week is the kids teacher/parents conference, then Garin is going to have school field trips and there is also school party. It would be my first time to have both older kids in the same school and will have their own classrooms, meaning separate party for them both. Now I will experience to which party to attend or help. Anyway, I will not know until after the conference if the kid’s party are at the same time. It would be hard to make or choose either of the party to attend to. But I might be able to attend both kids party if it is not at the same time.

Marilyn's party held at the club house... Dance floor

Last weekend the day after Marilyn’s party on Sunday evening a friend visited us from Ohio. It was so nice to see her (day G) and kuya D again. They stopped by the next day (Monday) around noon, we spend another few hour talking before they left for Makinac Island.
Day and Me. Hey don't look at my bilbil! Ahehehe!

Anyways, Friends and I were out last night for dinner and disco right after. We went to this restaurant which is all you can eat is sea foods. Giant crab legs, snow crabs, grilled posit, kalamari and big fish! I mean you name it they have it! They have this huge fish, which is fried (escabeche style) with different sause that we usually used for our fish escabeche. Sad to say, first small plate for me I was already full. I could hardly moved after that. They told us that we can stay longer if we still feel like eating more. The owner was really nice and helpful, well, he would better be
after all eating there was not that cheap ($22 per head) one of the witress was a Filipina that make it even more eventful, everyone were cheerful and entertaining. We stayed in the resto for 2 hours just talking and laughing we even forgot to take pictures!
From Madison Heights (resto) we went directly to Boogie fever at Ferndale. It was not a long drive at all, Miss. Morgan was our driver, we were 5 in her car and the other 4 were in the other car. Boogie fever is the best disco place I been to, it was not a lot of people because they said it’s Friday, during weekends the place is full I heard. The music they played was our kind of music, the 80” and early 90’s! It was a blast night for us. It was actually a Birthday celebration for Jeanny.
From RL: Christine (my first time to meet her, she is friends of Jeanny and Anabelle from the other group) Anabelle, Me ate Sonia, Rose, Marilyn, Jeanny and Sam

Left to right: Ate Sylvia, Jeanny, ate Sonia, Marilyn Me Christine, Rose and Anabelle.
So, school it is. The kids are back to school, I was worried at first for Jonathan if he is going to have a hard time getting up so early in the morning. But so far so good, he still managed to take his shower before going to school he is still excited to ride the bus. But of course comes the cooler weather and much darker outside very soon I have to prepared myself for that, I am sure he would be telling me “It’s still dark, mommy”. Anyway, busy as always in my end, and trying to do things one day at a time. Thought of updating here I still have few things to share but I just don’t have the time at the moment. Have a great Friday. ~_^
The boys, one of those days you know. Triz took this picture actually.

I got up early thought of going to watch my recorded dateline. I have a lot of thing to do, but parang tinamad ako. Kaya ito, watching TV and typing for an update for my blog. I went to a friend’s house early everyning last night, I was supposed to be there around 1pm but I forgot! They were calling and calling me and they wondered why I did not answer their calls.
I was home resting since we were busy on Saturday (John were having gaming party) and of course us the wives were busy singing and talking. ~_^
Anyway, I was thinking of baking the spiral ham I bought from costco for dinner with salad, but all of a sudden from just setting around I got hungry and can’t stop thinking of pizza with bacon. So, I ask the hubby and the kids what they wanted for dinner the kids did not agree on the food, so John and I have to decide and agree.
Anyway, we both agreed on ordering deep dish pizza from Guido’s with bacon, ham and black olives for toppings. I don’t really like their pizza that much I still prepare the Jets pizza if I had a choice. Jet’s is a bit far from us it would be 10 to 15 minutes drive to pick it up (one way). But when having party in my house and pizza is one of the foods I usually ordered it from Jets. But anyways, Guido’s is just few minutes away, 3 minutes maybe?
When I got to my Van I check my cellphone which is in my van the entire week. I don’t really take my cellphone inside the house unless it need to be recharged. I saw I had lots of missed calls, but I did not bother to look who was calling, I was hungry and all I can think is pizza! After dinner I was back to normal-self again, I checked the missed calls, instantly I remembered to meet a friend who would be arriving from the Philippines! Now I was the one who is so desperate to give them a call, I missed the fun, the news from the Philippines and of course the eating? Hehehe! Anyway, I couldn’t get a hold of them, so every number that I know will be there I called, finally a friend answer and right away asked me where I was.
I got there around 6:30pm already and everyone were out in the deck, I thought no wonder no one answer my calls. ^_^ At least I made it to the last hour of talking and laughing. Now I have more dried fish that you could imagine and tabliya that I was so looking forward to have. Triz and I can agree on this kind of hot drinks she likes it too.
Anabelle (holding her son) Cleo with Garin Me with Jonathan and Maso behind Triz. Maso is new here in Michigan, she arrived last month July. She is friendly, down to earth and easy to get a long with. Cleo, in a way, itroduced Maso to me. ~_^

I planted tomatoes on the back side of our house as I usually do. But the tomatoes I have planted this year are not good as the tomatoes I had last year. Too bad, I was expecting pa naman to have green tomatoes with dried fish. Oh well better luck next time.

When Triz was little she never had nail polish in her linger nails. I was against her having color nails, besides it’s also because of chemical that used in it. She was our first born, our first baby, parang ma focused kasi attention mo lahat pagkasama mo ang baby 24/7.
Anyway, before her Birthday she asked me if she could buy nail polish for her Birthday activity. I told her I have to think about it first. One day I think it was a week before her Birthday party Cleo and I went to the mall with the kids, we were trying to find an outfit for her Birthday party. We went to her favorite store, I let her choose but before that we talk that both of us has to agree on the clothes she will choose. Since the nail polish she likes are in that particular store, we bought them also. I even tried them too, too bright, too kiddie. Cute thought. ~_^
Ibang ibang kulay, gusto nya e.

The kids are busy with their thing. Triz is on her computer, Jonathan on the floor playing floor puzzle. I bought 3 jumbo floor puzzle, the intention of buying these huge pieces of puzzle is for Bday giving. But Jonathan found it and wanted to try, so I let him play with one and let Garin watch him. I was surprised watching him solving the puzzle it only took him few minutes and he was done with it. I have to admit when I played puzzle with them (small puzzle) on the table they always help me out how to figure it out and how to find the right pieces first. John is good with puzzle too, I guess the kids are used to it since that is their dad’s favorite pastime to do.
Anyway, here I am in front of my laptop. We just had our lunch, I still have a lot of left-over from the party last Saturday. It was funny because when the girls start doing the “take homes” nakikisali na rin ako. Nag ballot rin ako!But ate Amy siopao believe it or not, I only have 4 left and John and the kids were eating it the next day for lunch. I ordered 100 pcs of fried chicken, it was really cheap if you buy that much, so I thought okey, I am going to do it. Anyway, the party was fun, but I was very busy, for some reason ang daming sumipot, of course I am glad that they find time to attend Triz’s Bday party. The Fil/Am asso which is I am active with were having an annual picnic at the same day, it was also the day for choosing a new president. So, akala ko kunti lang pupunta dahil doon nga ang iba, but after the picnic they stopped by, puno ang bahay ko. I hope everyone are having fun at the party. It was Triz’s advance Birthday party by the way.
John asked Triz last night if she have something in mind that she wanted to do on the 19th on her Birthday. Without thinking she said right away “shopping”! John and I just look at each other with amazement. Anyway, she received cash/checks last Saturday aside from that she received few nice clothing and other things which is good, because school start very soon and she could used them. ~_^ Of course, she also wanted to go to her favorite restaurant, rain forest. John and I agreed, but I changed my mind, I told John that I will take Triz for shopping on her Birthday and we are just going to order take out for dinner. Because I am planning to invite a couple (closed friends) on her Birthday and it would be nice doing it at home, you can just play wii after the meal in the comfort of your own home.
Aheh! This is kinda of a long update.
It's 2 by 3 feet floor puzzle. It looks small but is big.

I had a relaxing day I was on the phone for hours while the kids were with John doing puzzles. I called my nanay, my sister then my brother, of course more calls with friends in the area. Triz and I were busy yesterday running around picking up things for the party. I ordered food from Chinese buffet, then the cake, the balloons and of course pizza from Jets. When we got back I had to get the fruit ready then ate Amy showed up with her yummy siopao, she did help me with the cleaning in my kitchen cutting the fruits taking the folding chairs out while John were trying to put the small tent up. She did a good job on helping me out. I am greatful with her help because honestly I was running out of time.
Everything is back to normal now. ~_^ Will be out tomorrow to a friend’s house for a picnic. So I guess it is a good time to let Triz stop at the bank to deposit checks that she received yesterday. Thanks to everyone talaga for coming and for the chit chat and everything and of course sa mga regalo!
Friday a friend is going to have a small get together, I know it’s her Bday. She told the girls that just for lunch, get together she invited her co-workers too. She doesn’t have work that day.
Saturday is another friend son 3rd Bday. Actually there are 2 party on Saturday, but I am going to her party since she invited me first before I received the second invitation. I mean she is one of the 3 of us planning and choosing the party dates this month. Kaya I have to stick the plans, I am sure the other party will understand.
Cake time...

I had a busy morning I had to clean up upstairs, doing my laundry and at the same time chatting. It was a multi tasking job, I tell you. ~_^ But before I could start my morning work I had the kids eat their breakfast, then right after Triz clean up the table I let them play with ligo. They are so crazy about these little things which is my vacuum is happy to grab.
We ate our lunch at 11:00 am and got ready for Jonathan’s Doctor appointment at 12 noon. It’s a good thing that the doctor’s office is just few minutes away, we were on time and the office was not busy at all. They called us few minutes after we signed in which is good, we were out before Triz and Garin could complain. ^_^
